#26.43 - Capacity Checks When Reinstating Cancelled Bookings

Setting a cancelled booking back to Confirmed now checks that there is still room before it goes through. If the capacity it draws on is full, the booking stays cancelled and you are told exactly which capacity control blocked it, instead of the change quietly going through and overselling. Where the product allows overbooking, you are asked to confirm first, and the overbooking is written to the order's timeline so there is a record of who accepted it. Hotel-style stays booked from date-range inventory are now checked on every night they hold, not just the first, so a stay with one full night is caught. Booking edit forms no longer offer moving a booking into or out of Cancelled, keeping that change on the one path that runs the check.
New markup and discount lines are now shown to the customer by default, the same as every other booking line. When you add one, a Show to customer checkbox is ticked by default, and you can untick it then or hide the line from its menu at any time. Hidden lines are now also left out of order emails, so what a customer sees in the portal and what lands in their inbox finally match. Existing lines are untouched. Worth naming new lines in words a customer will understand, since they will now read them.
Custom reports can take a client as a parameter, chosen from a searchable list of your workspace's clients with each client's email shown under the name. Dropdown parameters of every kind, segments included, now appear as real dropdowns rather than a free-text box, and an optional dropdown can be cleared to include everything again. On the money side, payments and refunds recorded on an order can no longer be deleted, so the payment ledger always reflects what actually happened. Group ledger contributions are unaffected and keep their own delete action.
The trip's Download order data export now opens correctly in Excel with Icelandic letters intact, so Þórsdóttir and Ægisson arrive as they were typed. Client names in the export match how they appear in Lists and Sales Overview, the payments sheet gains the payment method code your accounting system posts against, and bookings gain a participant count beside quantity, so a double room reads as one unit with two people. Staff names and staff-written payment reasons have been removed from the file, since it goes out to suppliers.
Also improved: orders now capture a customer note from the portal's payment step or the Workspace API and show it read-only in the overview; supplier lists such as the Flights manifest include bookings on completed and locked orders; blank order creation captures phone and unique ID; dashboard lists show eight rows with Needs attention moved below them; cancellation notes and reasons are no longer visible to customers; and saving duration settings on a product that inherits its availability no longer returns an error.
