#013 Backend Bonanza

HELLO ...

Vacation you say? Well, not quite exactly ... sometimes life gets in the way and so it did in my case. I was supposed bo in the northern part of Iceland right now, chilling the the Sea Baths of Húsavík, but a family issue held us back. So in town we stayed, and who benefitted? Well, Itsy of course!

I am also removing the code commit weekly measurement, as it's quite arbitrary, and since I am spreading the code between a couple of repositories, it's not representing the amount of work I am doing. I was getting in the mindset of just creating a commit so that I could push the counter. So yeah. But I log all my hours, so that will continue ...

SO FAR ...

So with my vacation days off, I dove into the Backend. I had some basic things ready there, but I did spend quite some time on it in these past couple of weeks, which I am very happy with. It's coming along quite nicely.

I am doing this in combination with the Workflow engine and the integrations I am planning on having in the system.

SO NEXT ...

I am feeling I need that vacation, and we will see what we do, but if I don't get away from my apartment, I know the draw of Itsy will be too much and I will spend some work on the product. Backend and Workflows will be my main focus for the next couple of weeks.
